In 2017, Stéphanie Danjou launched a leatherwork label with a sleek design, reflecting its humane, social and environmental values.

From her studio, she draws, designs and hand-produces androgynous products whose timeless aesthetic stands out from seasonal fashion trends and rampant consumerism.

Challenging a system of mass production and consumerism, she produces each of her products piece by piece, respecting the tradition of French leatherwork experts.

All materials used are of high quality and are locally sourced.

ABOUT STEPHANIE DANJOU

Stéphanie Danjou was awarded first place with an Ethical Fashion Design Award in 2009 for her final year project at the HEAD of Geneva. Her collection of women's clothing and accessories was inspired by a masculine wardrobe. She designed and crafted each item from an ethical standpoint, using natural, eco-friendly materials and recycled accessories.

In 2010 she joined the United Nation on a project aimed to decrease poverty in Laos. She collaborated with local craftspeople in developing a collection of accessories and prints for hand-sewn silken garments.

Upon her return, she furthered her design experience alongside master designers in Paris and Barcelona.

She then trained in luxury leatherwork and incorporated the prestigious Hermès brand. There, she acquired precision and expertise as a leatherwork craftswoman.

Today, she designs according to her own artistic realm, whilst naturally turning back to her true values: respect for humans and for the environment, with a view to source locally and to value the French artisan.
